Legislative Assembly elections are speculated be held in Gujarat in December 2022 to elect 182 members of Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The schedule will be released by the Election Commission of India before the election.
The tenure of Gujarat Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on 18 February 2023. The previous assembly elections were held in December 2017. After the election, Bharatiya Janata Party formed the state government, with Vijay Rupani becoming Chief Minister.
Vijay Rupani resigned from Chief Minister post on 11 September 2021 and he was succeeded by Bhupendra Patel as the new Chief Minister.
The election Schedule will be declared by the Election Commission of India at the reasonable time. Gujarat election 2022 results will be declared after that on a scheduled date.
